Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Sensory Processing – Autism Acceptance Day 10/30
The great debate continues over Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and Autism Spectrum disorder. SPD is not considered a qualifying characteristic for a diagnosis of autism. However, I have never encountered meet a person diagnosed with Autism that does not struggle with sensory issues.
